Virtual classroom courses: Our instructor-led virtual classroom courses are delivered in a virtual classroom environment. Students will be sent a virtual classroom invitation prior to the course.
Live classroom courses: Our instructor-led live classroom (in-person) courses are held in downtown Toronto at the Toronto Star Building, 1 Yonge Street, Suite 1801. Some courses are also held at an alternate downtown Toronto location.

This course is designed for those users ready to move on to the next level and use fields, one of the most advanced features in Microsoft Word. Students will use Word’s fields to enter information automatically and display variable results. Shortcuts will be used to insert, show, hide and update fields. Word Fields will be used in forms to enter data and in templates to prompt users to fill in data. Various other types of fields will also be used in documents for document information, dates, times and sequential numbering. Throughout this course, the instructor will include numerous tips, tricks and shortcuts.
Prerequisite: Microsoft Word Intermediate / Advanced or Microsoft Word: Styles, Templates and Tables of Contents or equivalent knowledge and skills.
Location and timing: Public scheduled courses are held online in virtual classroom format or in downtown Toronto and run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (Eastern Time).

In Microsoft Word, you can save lots of time if you can quickly select characters, words, lines, paragraphs and blocks of text in your documents. You can use keyboard shortcuts or mouse shortcuts to select text.
You can enter Greek letters or symbols (such as Gamma, Omega, Pi, Sigma or Theta) in Microsoft Word documents in several ways. In this article, we’ll look at different ways to insert Greek symbols.
You can keep text together in several ways in Word. If you want to keep words or characters together, you can use nonbreaking spaces or nonbreaking hyphens or dashes and insert them using a dialog box or a keyboard shortcut. If you want to keep lines or paragraphs together on the same page, you can apply settings in the Paragraph dialog box (which can be built into styles if you use styles).

You can apply strikethrough to text or values in Excel to cross out or create a line through a cell or part of a cell.
