In our hands-on Microsoft Word courses, learn how to use useful tools and save time using Word to automatically enter text or images, format documents using styles, create tables and advanced tables of contents, use sections, enter and edit fields, generate mail merges and use many other tools in Microsoft Word. Even if you're a non-programmer, you can also learn to use VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) and automate repetitive tasks.

Are Avantix Learning courses led by live instructors in a classroom setting?

Yes, our Word training courses are delivered as live, instructor-led classroom courses in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We specialize in small, personalized classes where students can interact with our top notch instructors in a comfortable environment. Our professional instructors have years of both Excel and real world business experience. Senior instructors have a minimum of 10 years of experience. A full profile of an instructor is available on request.

How large are Avantix Learning courses?

Public courses range in size from 4 to 8 students in a typical course. This ensures lots of time for questions and personal attention.

Are Word courses offered at different levels?

We offer Microsoft Word training at the introduction, intermediate and advanced levels.

Can students train on different versions?

Yes, students can attend training for different Word versions including 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016 and 365. Applicable versions are listed on each course outline.

What is included in Avantix Learning courses?

How often do Word courses run?

Our Microsoft Word courses run at different times depending on the course. Some courses run once per month, some bi-monthly and some quarterly.

What are the course durations and times?

We currently offer half day, one day or two day Excel courses. One and two day courses run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with a 1 hour break for lunch and a 15 minute break in the morning and in the afternoon. Half day courses run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a 15 minute break.

What are the fees for courses?

Public Word course fees vary and are listed on each course outline. Students who bring their own device receive a reduced rate.

Are discounts available?

Discounts are available if you bring your own device and for multiple bookings. Other discounts are also available for different types of organizations.
