Keyboard Shortcuts to Select the Pointer, Drawing and Text Tools in Microsoft Visio

Check out these 10 great Microsoft Visio shortcuts for selecting common tools in the Ribbon including the Pointer, Text tools and drawing tools.

1.  Select the Pointer tool

To select the Pointer tool, press Control + 1.

2. Select the Text tool

To select the Text tool, press Control + 2.

3. Select the Connector tool

To select the Connector tool, press Control + 3.

4. Select the Pencil tool

To select the Pencil tool, press Control + 4.

5. Select the Freeform tool

To select the Freeform Tool, press Control + 5.

6. Select the Line tool

To select the Line tool, press Control + 6.

7. Select the Arc tool

To select the Arc tool, press Control + 7.

8. Select the Rectangle tool

To select the Rectangle tool, press Control + 8.
